Arizona Parks + Recreation Conference gets better every year! This year in Phoenix was fun, energetic, and full of connecting with our friends and colleagues in the industry.
Being the Peak Partner for APRA gives us a front row seat at the intentionality behind the organization’s mission and the guidance of its leadership. It is an honor and our pleasure to be able to support APRA’s vision for our state’s park + recreation facilities as well as appreciating the members who are making daily impact in our communities. With APRA reaching the milestone of 75 years, it truly is a Diamond Legacy that is being crafted in Arizona.
Exhibit Hall
If you joined APRA’s Conference and spent any time wondering the Exhibit Hall, we hope you found your way to our Team to play! We brought in the Jurassic Mound from Cre8Play which is MASSIVE. Pair that with turf from Forever Lawn, Social Seats, Geo-Cool, and Spin Station by DBA Outfitters (yours truly), Earthscape’s Large Pine, and Playworld’s Playcube Retreat- we brought an entire park into the Exhibit Hall!
We hope those who joined us (shout out Queen Creek Parks + Rec team for lingering and having a true Picnic in the Park and the countless teams who took team photos on the Jurassic Mound) had a great time connecting with our team.
Director Social & All-Conference Social
The Directors Social in collaboration with Willmeng Construction was hosted at The Compass Room and what a view it was to enjoy! With drinks + apps, we spent time connecting and enjoying meaningful conversations with Parks + Rec Directors.
In true DBA fashion, we jumped into a FUN party for the All-Conference Social – shout out to our friends at Haydon + Tarkett Sports for joining us in hosting! 810 Billiards and Bowling was packed with friends, music, and laughter and it could not have been a better time! With billiards, bowling, an impromptu dance floor, drinks and apps, the atmosphere was unbeatable.
From the bottom of our hearts – thank you. We love this community of park + rec people and it is a joy to partner with APRA. It truly is our passion to get to collaborate and celebrate Parks & Rec in our state. The work they do brings daily impact and we are grateful to play a part in that. Together, we celebrate being able to provide our Community’s with Connection + Adventure.
