A graceful approach to the design of site amenities which integrates diverse and pleasing elements of many different design environments. From the most orate to the most simple, the group of IRONSITES products provides a selection of matching amenities which can be used with understatement in a complete design system.

The single most critical design element of the Bethesda Series is the relationship between the strong verticality of the thick steel bars and the new plane formed when they are gracefully curved outward and joined together by the connecting element. The resulting configuration seems to suspend one plane from the other.

The critical spacing of the solid IRONSITES steel bars provides sufficient transparency to let IRONSITES products peacefully coexist with virtually all other design elements in any site plan. In one plane, the space these products occupy is defined and graceful. In another, the first plan almost disappears. The combination is unique. The result is beautiful.

T-Series & Parsons

A bold splash of color highlights the T-Series product design. Offered in six standard colors, two sizes, with three different lid options. The T-Series by itself, or in combination with the Parsons benches, provides options not previously available.

The clean geometry of the Parsons Series offers a classic design, updated for the rigors of public furniture. The Parsons Series frames are made of massive three inch diameter, high-tensile strength steel tubing. The Parsons Series is available in three standard mounting configurations, free-standing, surface mount, or in-ground.

These matching bench and receptacle combinations offer strong color choices while retaining the natural warmth of wood. They blend together beautifully or can be matched individually to other amenities.

Ribbons of solid steel bar formed and spaced for remarkable comfort and durability.

The RB-28 (blue bench at right) is shown in 6' length -- a classic design using 1/2" x 2" solid steel bar for leg members. The 2" width provides enormous strength and allows the armframes to serve as comfortable armrests. The 1/4" x 1-1/2" steel seat members are gently reverse contoured for maximum comfort.

The RB-12 (white bench at right) is shown in 6' length -- an elegant backless bench with construction similar to the RB-28.

Our beautiful wood litter receptacles come in 3 styles: The H-Series (upper right) is built with a Publicote-treated welded steel frame. Each frame consists of three steel rings welded to eight steel rods, with eight rods across the base. Each carefully selected slat is attached to the frame from the inside with three specially-made, hardened, plated screws. H-Series receptacles can be used as simple, beautiful planters.

The Litter King Series (upper left) is now offered in genuine mahogany. Every standard L or F series Litter King receptacle frame is built with three horizontal rings, four vertical rods and eight rods across the base, all welded into a rigid steel frame. The finished frame is treated with the Publicote powder-coating process. The mahogany wood slats are than affixed to the frame from inside with power-driven wide-turn plated screws for all-weather holding. Each finished unit is dipped in a tank of clear sealer.

Site Cubes (lower image) come in either steel-and-wood or all-steel construction. Wood Site Cubes include four steel feet welded to the base to raise the bottom off the ground for easy cleaning and anchoring in malls and office plazas.

Center Post Tables are available with attached benches. Optional aluminum game boards and seat backs for added flexibility. Center Post Tables are truly massive components engineered for maximum strength and great design freedom, easily modified for use with umbrellas.

Square and Rectangular Center-Post Tables -- also available as independent-post tables -- offer more flexibility and more achievable solutions to design challenges.

Standard CP construction throughout, including structural steel center-post, high-tensile strength tubular steel cross-arms, high-tensile strength underseat tubular steel supports, and all our standard options. The rectangular models are often used to provide wheelchair access at the table ends (be sure to provide adequate clearance beneath table tops and suitable access to table ends).

Picnic Tables come in a variety of styles, including the traditional classic styling or as a permanent in-ground table with a four leg design. (shown at the right) These tables use high-tensile strength tubular steel legs and offered in a broad choice of wood species, thicknesses and lengths.
